Rosario Brucato is an italian film producer, screenwriter, editor and director. He began to be interested in cinema since an early age, having a particular interest in the filmography of his favourite directors: Alfred Hitchcock and Dario Argento.

The Different Being Movie

“The atroucious consequences of a sick society”.


He graduated in Arts, Music and Performing Arts, presenting a thesis on Hitchcock’s filmography. After, he continued his studies in Performing Arts and Multimedia Production Sciences, which he concluded with the highest grade.

In 2016, he wrote, directed and edited “Don’t Open That Chat”, his first approach to the world of entertainment.



The following year, he wrote, directed and edited “The Different Being”, a no-budget short film, that collected several nominations in Los Angeles and New York, won the award in the best indie filmmaker and best first-time director categories at two Los Angeles festivals, got the gold award in the best director category at a third one and won at various Hollywood film festivals.
